Firefox Student Ambassadors are individuals who are passionate about Mozilla and raise awareness about the many benefits of Firefox and other Mozilla products - especially Firefox OS!
FSA's from Universities and colleges strive/contribute for the fulfill the Mozilla mission is to promote openness, innovation & opportunity on the Web.
The Firefox Student Ambassador Program exists to support students who are new to the Mozilla community. Once these individuals have gained more knowledge and experience within the community they have the option to apply the Mozilla Reps program.

- Learn about innovative Mozilla products.
- Plan and host fun events on campus by gaining experience in planning events and organizing the activities in colleges.
- This gives a opportunity to network with the community people.
- Learn new skills technically which includes some programming and Web savvy but not necessary to do a great job with programming,
- Earn recognition for what you do in campus for the community development and
- Advance their leadership in the Mozilla community.
- Start a Firefox Club at your school and help develop a Mozilla Classroom Toolkit.
- Be familiar with Firefox and Mozilla products
Here are some rewards of being a Firefox Student Ambassador
- Featured in newsletters, campaigns, and public channels
- Sent thank you letter or Certificate and/or Recognition from Mozilla
- Chances to advance skills with experienced Mozilla staff
- Accepted into the Mozilla Reps program
- Sponsorship to visit Mozilla HQ or attend special events
